Yesterday, Wednesday 21 March, The Worshipful the Mayor of Maidstone, Cllr Mike Fitzgerald, opened the new offices of hiremorecar.com, as well as officially launched the company’s new website, which incorporates a full online booking system.

Ten year-old hiremorecar is based in Maidstone, next to Maidstone West station, where it recently moved into new, more prominent premises. The company, which has always exploited IT, has now introduced a full online booking system, an innovation for an independent Kent-based car hire firm.

“We are proud to be a local, independent Maidstone firm, delivering a valuable service to the people of the county town,” said Jeremy Feeney, owner of hiremorecar, welcoming the Mayor. “Our new website incorporates a full online booking system and allows us to make a donation each time we take a booking, to a Maidstone charity, Maidstone Christian Care. This charity runs a day centre for homeless and vulnerable people in Maidstone - all those people who for reasons beyond their control find themselves ‘homeless in Maidstone’.  We are doubly honoured,“ he continued, “that we have the current chair of the charity here with us today, the Mayor, Councillor Mike Fitzgerald.”
