The Worshipful, the Mayor of Maidstone, Cllr Mike Fitzgerald, opened the new offices of Hiremorecar.com. And he officially launched the company’s new website, which incorporates a full online booking system for its Maidstone rent-a-cars.

Ten years-old Hiremorecar is based in Maidstone, directly opposite the ticket office of Maidstone West railway station. Here, it recently moved into new, more prominent premises. The company, which was an early pioneer of car and van rental on the Internet, has now introduced a full online booking system – a customer focused innovation for the independent Kent car hire firm.

Local charities benefit

“We are proud to be a local, independent Maidstone firm, delivering a valuable service to the people of the county town and beyond,” said Jeremy Feeney, owner of Hiremorecar Ltd and Hiremorecar.com, when welcoming the Mayor. “Our new website incorporates a full online booking system and it allows us to make a donation each time we take a booking, to a Maidstone charity, Maidstone Christian Care. This charity runs a day centre for the homeless and vulnerable people in Maidstone – all those people who for reasons beyond their control find themselves homeless in Maidstone. “We are doubly honoured,” he continued “that we have the current chair of the charity here with us today, the Mayor, Councillor Mike Fitzgerald.”
